Lake Ozark Speedway to use Racesaver Rules package for 305 Sprints

Lake Ozark Speedway Fans and Drivers we would like to update you on the 305 Sprint Class we talked about earlier in the year. The LOS team has decided to go with the Racesaver Rules package so we can match up with other racing facilities. But during the 2018 season we will make exceptions for some who have older equipment and want to use that up before buying new. This will be done up front before any race night tech inspection. All of the owners and drivers in this class will be informed on what parts may not be in the rules package and how we handle them. This class is a great class for the younger drivers to learn sprint racing and the seasoned drivers to have affordable fun. As of today the LOS Team will call this class the LOS Racesaver Winged Sprints and they we be running …

Lake Ozark Speedway rained out for Saturday, October 7th

Lake Ozark Speedway Fans and Drivers Mother Nature has won another feature at LOS. With over four inches of rain this week and no sunshine we just can’t make it happen. It’s easy for me to see why racing in October is almost impossible. After looking at the long range forecast of 50 degrees at night I don’t even think I want to set up in those bleachers when it’s cold and damp. So I hate to admit it but it’s time to call it a season and what season it has been. From cutting trees out of the track and pit area, changing out the dirt racing surface and taking our first dollar in at the gate what a ride it has been. And the Fans and Drivers desire to have racing at the lake once again made it happen. Again Thanks so much for your support over the …
