Haley Heads to Lake Ozark and Double X for Weekend Double Dip
PETERSEN MEDIA- As the Summer months heat up in the Midwest, Haley Arnolds schedule follow suits as the Missouri racer heads into a weekend double header kicking off with a stop at Lake Ozark Speedway Saturday night, before another ASCS Warrior Region race at Double X Speedway for a Sunday night shootout.
Last weekend Haley and her Arnold Motorsports team traveled to US 36 Raceway in Cameron, MO for another action packed ASCS Warrior Region contest.
The night kicked off with Haley piloting her Mid-Mo Auto Sales/ButlerBuilt/Impact Signs, Awnings, & Wraps mount to a sixth place finish in her heat from the seventh starting spot, forcing her to qualify for the feature via the B-main.
The B main saw Haley grab the sixth and final transfer spot transferring her into the nights feature where she started in the 20th position.
When the feature event got underway, it was apparent that Haley was fighting her race car, as she man handled the car through the corners and she fought tight conditions.
Haley continued to adjust to her car and as she was in the 15th postion, contact between her and Jack Dover sent the lady racer into a soft roll over ending her night but luckily not causing too much damage to her Arnold Motorsports entry.
“My car was just really tight, and I kept trying different lines to try and get it to rotate the corner easier, unfortunately me and Dover made contact and I got it upside down,” explained Haley. “I have to thank my amazing crew for all their help and helping me get the car together for this weekends races.”
With her effort on Friday, Haley has moved into the top-10 of the ASCS Warrior Region standings , and will be following the series for the rest of the season as she continues to maintain her standing in the championship points hunt.
Kicking off the weekend, She will make a stop at Lake Ozark Speedway in Elden, MO before rejoining the ASCS Warrior Region at Double X Speedway in California, MO.
