WAR SPRINTS TWO DAY WEEKEND IN MISSOURI

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (May 22, 2018) - After a two week break in the schedule, the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint League will be back in action May 26th and 27th, for a Memorial Weekend double header.

Saturday, May 26th the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprints returns to " The Lake" for their second visit in 2018. Current WAR Sprints point leader, Riley Kreisel drove to a convincing win during the April 28th event and will be looking for his 3rd feature win of the year this weekend. Quinton Benson sits 2nd in the series standings, and was the Indy Race Parts Hard Charger at Lake Ozarks on April 28th. The Emma, MO driver will be one to watch as he seeks his first series win of the year. Defending Champion Korey Weyant has had a slow start to 2018, but still sits 3rd in the points standings, and will be looking to improve on his 8th place run during the last Lake Ozarks stop.

Sunday, May 27th the league moves onto the much anticipated return to Double X Speedway and will be part of the "Tribute to Jesse." WAR's last visit came in 2013 and saw past champion Chris Parkinson take the victory. This event has had an overwhelming success in recent years, and looks to keep growing by adding the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint League in 2018.
