Lake Ozark Speedway Partners with FireAide
Lake Ozark Speedway Fire Safety Team is proud to partner with FireAde for the 2020 racing season. Driver safety and our capability to extinguish a fire quickly and effectively is our top priority.
FireAde is the trusted product of choice for Race Safety Teams in all motorsports from NHRA, NASCAR, IHRA, PDRA, MLSS Geico, IMSA, Lucas Oil Dirt Series, Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing, and Monster Truck Jam.
FireAde® is a fire extinguishing agent designed for rapid application and extinguishment of fire outdoors and around the racetrack using their signature FireAde® firefighting foam. Water-based, no mess, non-corrosive formula leaves no residue and wipes up easily. Effective on Class A and Class B fires (97% of all fires).
In the past we have relied on Dry Chemical agents such as “Purple K” and other foam products that are harmful to drivers and leaves a terrible mess that can damage engines. We can now cover a driver with a safe effective fire extinguishing agent that is not harmful to them or their clothing, easily cleans up to get you back in the race and is environmentally friendly.
Lake Ozark Speedway Fire Safety Team has built twenty new fire extinguisher stands for placement throughout the pit area and camping area in the event of an emergency with FireAde Fire Extinguishers.
