Vaughan Pools and Spas Night at Lake Ozark Speedway

Eldon, MO. (7/28/2020) Vaughan Pools and Spas is proud to present weekly racing at Lake Ozark Speedway on Saturday, August 22nd with four classes of action taking to the 1/3-mile oval nestled on the outskirts of Eldon, MO. Featuring always entertaining Pure Stocks, the fan-favorite Street Stocks, the side by side battles of the USRA B-Mods, and ending the night’s program with the heart-pounding-edge-of-the-seat action of the Lake Ozark Speedway Wing 360 Sprints.

The points battle in the LOS 360 Sprints is about as close a possible, with only one point separating the top-two drivers as Evan Martin #4 holds the slightest of advantages over Austin Alumbaugh #33. Both drivers along with Dominic Scelzi #41, Garret Williamson #24, Chase Randall #9, and Miles Paulus #21 all have one feature win so far in 2020 sprint-car competition. Will the trend of different feature winners continue or will one of the front-runners in points separate himself from the field with only a few races left this year?

Pure Stock feature racing has witnessed shades of greatness with the same driver accumulating half the feature wins so far this season. Aaron Gustin #27, of Osage Beach, Missouri, has been on a hot-streak in 2020 claiming four feature victories in eight events, leading the points through consistency placing inside the top-ten in all but two starts. Derek Hurt #50 has also claimed two feature wins with Jeff Turpin #21 and Trevor Wilson #30 accounting for the other feature triumphs. Can Gustin continue to ride the wave of success in the Pure Stock class at Lake Ozark Speedway or perhaps rookie driver Theodore Welschmeyer #29W will continue to impress by climbing in the results nearly every week?
