Randy Martin Resumes Winning Ways in POWRi LOS 305 Sprint Feature

Belleville, IL. (6/19/22) Randy Martin would make his first appearance in victory lane of 2022 in the POWRi LOS Wray’s Lawn and Landscaping 305 Sprint Division Saturday night, gaining his sixth divisional career feature victory in the weekly appearance of the Honest Abe’s Home Service LOS Chase for the Championship at “The Lake”.

Early heat racing action would witness Mike Trent and Kenny Potter each earn victories with a parallel Potter front row with Kenny Potter grabbing the night’s high-point qualifier award as well as the pole-starting grid for the twenty-lap feature event with Jack Potter starting outside front-row.

Launching on the initial green flag would find outside row-one starter Jack Potter establishing the early lead and appear to be well on his way to earning the night’s top spot with Randy Martin and Mike Trent following closely behind.
Leading the first fifteen laps, Jack Potter would suffer a flat right-rear tire taking him from the competition as Randy Martin would inherit the front-running position.

Holding on for the final five rotations, Martin would earn his first feature victory of the year with Mike Trent finishing second as Kenny Potter placed third. Matt Fox would fly from starting seventh to finish fourth with Nick Rasa rounding out the top-five finishers for the POWRi LOS Wray’s Lawn and Landscaping 305 Sprint Division feature event.
