Curtis Evans Earns First POWRi LOS 305 Sprint Feature Victory

Belleville, IL. (7/17/22) Curtis Evans emerge victorious and would stand tall in victory lane with the POWRi LOS Wray’s Lawn and Landscaping 305 Sprint Division, gaining his first career divisional feature win in the weekly appearance of the Honest Abe’s Home Service LOS Chase for the Championship at Lake Ozark Speedway.

Early heat racing action would witness Doug Fry and Jack Potter each earn victories with Fry grabbing the night’s high-point qualifier award as well as the pole-starting grid for the twenty-lap feature event with Potter starting outside the front row.

Launching on the initial green flag would find Doug Fry establishing the early lead with third-starting Curtis Evans quickly gaining in the opening stages of the event. Establishing the lead, Evans would not be denied in the feature win by holding off all onslaughts for the top spot.

Finishing second, Doug Fry would have his hands full in the closing laps as sixth starting Randy Martin placed third. Mike Trent would slice through the field from an eighth grid to finish fourth with Jack Potter rounding out the top-five finishers for the POWRi LOS Wray’s Lawn and Landscaping 305 Sprint Division feature event in the Second Annual Prelude to the Stars.
