Open Trailer Classic Returns with Weekly Racing at Lake Ozark Speedway

Eldon, MO. (5/11/26) - Returning by popular demand and paying tribute to the throwback era of grassroots racing, Lake Ozark Speedway will host the annual Open-Trailer Classic on Saturday, May 16, inviting competitors to haul their race cars the old-school way for a night rooted in traditional short-track competition.

Weekly racing will feature the A-Mod, Super Stock, B-Mod, Midwest Mod, Pure Stock, and Hornet divisions, keeping the on-track action intense from green to checkered.

Thanks to contributions from proud POWRi StockMod sponsors, each feature winner who arrives at Lake Ozark Speedway with their race car transported on an open trailer will receive bonus money in addition to standard weekly payouts. Additional prize contributions are welcome to further increase winnings, with donations encouraged to be submitted directly to Lake Ozark Speedway.
