Modified Spring Fling Ups Incentive in Lake Ozark Speedway Season Opener
Eldon, MO. (3/9/26) - Launching the excitement of weekly competition for the 2026 racing season, Lake Ozark Speedway roars back to life on Saturday, April 11, with the Modified Spring Fling, putting a major spotlight on the powerful A-Mod division as teams from across the region prepare to converge on the Lake.
Serving as the spotlight attraction in the season opener, the Modified Spring Fling will offer a lucrative $2,000-to-win, $250-to-start purse, along with $100 non-qualifier pay for the A-Mod division with a $125 entry fee. Drivers will compete under the Heartland Modified Tour event format, bringing a structured and competitive program to the evening’s headline division.
Adding further stature to the Saturday evening event, Erick Chesterman, director of the Heartland Modified Tour, will be on hand to help oversee the track program while giving teams familiar with the touring series format an additional incentive to make the trip to Lake Ozark Speedway.
Alongside the thrilling A-Mod action, the full Lake Ozark Speedway lineup will compete with POWRi Racing B-Mod, POWRi Midwest Mod, POWRi Pure Stock, and POWRi Hornet divisions, rounding out a stacked night of racing competition.
Drivers and fans alike can expect a full evening of side-by-side battles as the facility roars back to life for the first weekly racing program of 2026, setting the stage for another exciting season at one of Missouri’s premier dirt racing destinations.
